jimmer Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 There can't be anyone left who think R G is even a 4th OF anymore. UghI didn't see it. Was it on RG or Danny? I ask cause both of them are horrible out there.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 gluttons for punishment r us.
jimmer Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 uh, and who was making the throw? Danny Santana. An OF I've recently been told is about an average defensive CF ;-)
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I mean why try something else out there when you've got this........amiright?
Platoon Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I didn't see it. Was it on RG or Danny? I ask cause both of them are horrible out there. I would put it on Grossmann, not being able to hear who called what. He did a nice Square out at the fence, and ran into DanSan who had a bead on the ball.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Morris being just a wee bit politically incorrect No getting around it: Gibson has been bad for all except one month this year. 1st inning: 21 pitches, 11 strikes.

He did a nice Square out at the fence, and ran into DanSan who had a bead on the ball.yeah, I missed it. Starting to sound like I should be glad I did. My wife told me that for my bday today, I should treat myself to NOT watching this game. :-)

jimmer Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Morris being just a wee bit politically incorrect No getting around it: Gibson has been bad for all except one month this year.Morris saying something concerning Gibson I've been saying for awhile now. He is what he is at this point. And it aint good.
GCTF Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Danny SantanaRex Grossman out in left fieldHow did this happen? That's cheatin
Platoon Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 And the runner tried to help on the SF, but DanSan missed the plate by 20 ft, and then Suzuki missed the catch just as Bautista went past.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 yeah, I missed it. Starting to sound like I should be glad I did. My wife told me that for my bday today, I should treat myself to NOT watching this game. :-)Happy Birthday !!
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Jays not the slightest bit hesitant to tee off on Gibson, pretty much know he has nothing.
jud6312 Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Did anybody else watch Rob and Dan collide in the outfield and think it the perfect metaphor for the season? To be completely honest, that was my second thought. The first was, "two birds with one stone ... thanks, Toronto."

Platoon Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Morris is making a point valid to most players, and quite possibly one of the biggest flaws in TwinsWorld! Players are what they are, eventually. They might have one good year, but not several strung together. We seem to view players like that, even 30 year olds, as guys moving forward, not as an outlier year. (I now return you to The State Fair)
jimmer Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Birthday? Have a good one.......listen to your wife.thanks. yeah, I can't tear myself away from the game quite yet :-)
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Jays not the slightest bit hesitant to tee off on Gibson, pretty much know he has nothing. That's what good, veteran hitters do. Sometimes they even supply the other team with blindfolds.
