Can someone make a voodoo pin cushion doll out of Kevin Jepsen. Perhaps sticking the doll full of figurative  pins may take him out of the Twins plans. Nice to see we gave nothing of value to the Rays for the Twins. Next Twins GM needs to have a no trade with the Tampa Rays policy. Nothing good for the Twins ever happens when we trade with those guys.

I don't have a voodoo doll build manual.  But I bet 70chargers groin could be a good start.

I see a big potential for a number of promotions for next year.  It would not need to be players and could be expanded to include the managerial staff and the front office.

The twist is in his front foot:  he plants the left foot and twists it in the dirt.  It's a pitch recognition thing:  he's getting fooled.  In theory, the hesitation with a leg kick would at least lessen that problem.  And a lunge into the ball for a better, quicker swing.  IN THEORY

It's all really disappointing.  When Buxton was called up this time, he seemed like he was improving some each game.

Ah, I thought you were talking his front foot.  He had issues with the leg kick too.  I know what you're talking about now.  It is disappointing since he did have that fixed when he came back up, and he did have success with it.  Somewhere along the lines, they got him thinking again instead of doing things automatically.  Film study would help with that, but it won't help entirely.

I do have an extra pin from my upper rear right groin.

Technically I am working.... control + w is a great tool in case if the boss sneaks up on me :)

I figured I'd see what Ctrl+W does, since I never bothered to learn it.   Now I see why.

Alt+Tab is the way to go - just make sure you have a full screen window open that you can switch to.  .

You can not send Buxton down yet again. The management should just tell him that he is safe for the year and to work on his swing and fielding. This up and down bull**** that management is doing is hurting these young players. The season is toast and now it is simply time to see what the youngens can do.

This is taking an awfully long time, seems to me...

It's possible he got sidetracked?

I think he is out of minor league options. We might lose him on waivers if we try.

We might lose Jepsen on waivers...if we try?

Got my vote. Jepsen is one of those frustrating guys that looks great one day, disastrous another day, and it's hard to tell exactly what's causing either one. Arm feeling better or worse? Mood? Good or bad plan? Some subtle mechanical issue?

At some point, you have to let an experiment end. That time has come for Kevin Jepsen. He's not going to stabilize into a reliable relief pitcher.

Darn. Apparently I was otherwise occupied, and missed that one day.

So much for that Plouffe trade... for those watching, how bad did it look? Hamstring?

Aw, crap.  What happened, he got hurt?

Oh, Ffs, now we're stuck with him.

Tampa just plucks out our eyeballs and puts in grapes.  They feel the same, but don't quite work as well.  Heh...  nice to see that return they got for Jeps was the starter in the Southern League All Star Game this week.

I concur wholeheartedly.  No more Rays trades.
