You just don't pull a starter with a 4 run lead and a burned out bullpen.

Mollie does.  In fairness, he's not used to situations like that this year.

Well, he's thrown enough pitches and it's a very hot day. Playing with fire either way.

I'm embarrassed that I live in an Era where 96 pitches is even a consideration.

My box score says 104 pitches, which would be the 2nd most he has thrown all season.
