Platoon Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Can confirm, did a gator boat tour in New Orleans last weekend. Turns out they don't care for beek jerky though, who knew. Would make a great Messin with Sasquatch bit! Riverbrian 1
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 For a real take on the Florida experience one needs to read Tim Dorsey's series of books on Serge and Coleman. Serge, one of the most creative serial killers of all time is an expert on Florida history and traditions! Speaking of serial killlers, they have to be close to extinction, right? I can't remember the last time I heard about one in recent memory. I guess that's a good thing we no longer have the Ted Bundy, Zodiac Killer, and Jeffrey Dahmer's of the world.

Platoon Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 An LA jury just convicted the Grim Sleeper. That's always been the downside to being a serial killer. The abrupt end to your career. But on the plus side, you don't need to spend a lot of time on long range financial planning! Riverbrian 1

They've been recruited by ISIS and the drug cartels. Riverbrian 1

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Serial killers tend to try and keep things on the down low. Brilliant! The topic of serials killers is intriguing to me. What they did to victims isn't the intriguing part, just to make it clear. I'm more fascinated as to how they got so messed up in the head to justify doing what they did.

ashbury Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Serial killers tend to try and keep things on the down low. Them, and the po-po too. "Somebody's targeting vulnerable black women? Well, let's make sure and keep an eye on this. No sense in alarming the public." Vanimal46 1

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 seems like no one recognizes the only reason florida even exists: air conditioning. It also exists to provide ridiculous news stories that the rest of the country can shake their heads in unison to. Such as a brawl between dads at a little league game, a 6 month old girl setting a water skiing record, or a woman claiming she's playing "Mermaid" while swimming up to houses and robbing them.
