Since these games (and season) are so utterly bad, maybe we could start multi tasking on the game threads.  This would need Moderator approval but instead of just Twins talk we could mix in some home improvement advice, fishing clinics/advice, etc.

Twins are still going to lose tonight even though the Royals tried to give the Twins a run.

 

With one out and a runner on second the throw to first appeared to get the runner on the replay but the Royals saved their appeal.

 

Run expectancy shows 1.17 runs scoring with one out and runners on first and third,  but only .38 with a runner on third and two outs.

 

The Twins failed to plate a run anyway because Twins,   but only after the Royals probably improved their run expectancy by 8/10's of a run with the non-challenge.
