Platoon Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 They need a replacement for 3-6, 5.77 ERA Harvey in their rotation, too. Vargas, Plouffe, and Nolasco for Harvey and some prospects. If we have to throw in Jepsen, oh well. Oh no, Not Jep! Who's gonna close?

Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Let's get more real and admit something to the group you've never said before.I'll go first. The first concert I ever went to was Destiny's Child: Survivor tour. Loved every second of it.This is a mistake and a story I will never forget. When I was an older kid, the group I hung around with used the term "That is Gay', It wasn't meant to offend the LGBT community, it was more meant as "That Sucks". back in the year 2000, me and my girlfriend, who is now my wife, go up to the local watering hole by my mother's house as I was living with my mom at the time, and it happens to be a LGBT and Friends Bar. I must have used that term enough in the roughly first year of me and my wife being together, that it rubbed off on her. We were talking to the owner while having a few drinks, the owner was a woman and deeply involved in a same sex relationship. Rick Springfield's song Jessie's Girl started to play from the Jukebox and my wife said "This song is gay." The owner responded, ""That's okay around these parts." It is safe to say me and my wife left very quickly after that episode... never to use that term again.

Blake Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 First concert: Neil Young "Rust Never Sleeps" tour. I had just moved to the Cities and had to find my way to the Civic Center. Somehow, I wound up down by the river in the process. I brought pot, but, as it turned out, it wasn't really necessary. I was a contractor, setting up the infield seating stands at the Metrodome for the Timberwolves inaugural season. It seems like there should be a third item in this list, but, I got nothing.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 I'm having an affair with my first wife. It doesn't seem all that fair.
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 So, apparently, "admit to something you've never told anyone" turned into "tell everyone how awesome you are." Well, that's just great.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Wow. me too.Seems like everyone is having an affair with John's first wife....
