This team is now 7-17. Brutal. I would give Molitor the benefit of the doubt throughout this season ONLY because the team was competitive last season. If next year begins poorly and no improvement is shown, I would hope he's shown the door. Although if this thing to continues to spiral out of control, the water may get awfully warm by season's end. We have a roster full of seemingly uninspired players who seem to lack direction. And of course, there are plenty of marginally talented players.

Molitor is part of it, he's definitely made some questionable pitching moves and lineup construction, but the team construction itself is extremely questionable and that falls on Mr. Ryan.

At least Duffey looked good today.  I'm actually excited about him and Berrios in the rotation.  Duffey looked like he was in control while he pitched today.  

 

Last thought - Sano looks much more athletic and graceful at 3rd base versus RF...

Wow, this is one lousy team. How much of this is the talent level and how much is the manager/coaches? I'm starting to lean toward the latter given these recent lifeless performances. Is it too late to cancel my MLB TV subscription and get a refund?

It's disappointing the Twins are 10 games under 500 at the end of April. I don't know, though, I am looking forward to the next five months. Mauer-Sano-Park-Arcia looks like a nice middle of the lineup. Berrios-Meyer-Duffey in the rotation looks promising too. I think there is something to build on here. Maybe getting back into contention isn't realistic anytime soon, but count me in as sticking around to see the show.
