TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Ok.....any shreds of optimism about Sano in RF are evaporating quickly. Eek.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Well can we confirm if it was manager induced or simply a rogue notion by Dozier? He certainly wasn't bunting for a base hit...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 What sounds more appealing for dinner - leftover pulled pork, or grilling chicken wings? Grilling Chicken Wings
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Why does it seem like the ball is being hit to right field a lot more this year?
Jham Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I don't doubt that Sano has the natural ability and athleticism to play the outfield, starting to wonder whether he's got the work ethic and nutritional acumen to make it work... yikes, btw. Remember when we compared him to Anthony Barr? Yeah, if he doesn't watch out, he'll be Bryant McKinney...
KirbyHawk75 Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Sano kind of reminds me of Delmon Young in the offense. Although at least Sano tries a lot harder.
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 most OFs make the play on the 'double' last inning. wasn't hard.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Davis has the easiest power that I think I've ever seen

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 It's not about feeling like someone trying to steal home, it's about trying to get the 3rd out of the inning from a base runner, which the pitcher feels he has a chance of picking off.I understand the point, but how many times have you seen someone get picked off at 3rd?
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 SANO! That athleticism out in RF!yeak, okay. Think his eyes were open as it was looking like the ball was going to pop out? Enjoyed the catch though.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 What sounds more appealing for dinner - leftover pulled pork, or grilling chicken wings?Beer.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Chicken wings does require a couple of things. 1-putting on a shirt 2- head to the pool where the Twins game is not on. After the HR from Davis, I'm leaning wings.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Beer. That's a given with or without the wings or pulled pork.
bird Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 So that would be a very short leash? A veritable choke chain.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Arcia isn't a "good" or anything close to an average RF either. The Twins actually had an elite RF on their roster this off-season, but chose to trade him for a guy who has yet to get a plate appearance yet. On this we agree but it isn't much fun to talk about. But it's a little unfair of me to try and compare that conversation with a better conversation about the things that Chief did to make his wife shake her head.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 yeak, okay. Think his eyes were open as it was looking like the ball was going to pop out? Enjoyed the catch though. LOL Now we're complaining even if he DOES make the catch?
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 The bullpen is going to be shot by the end of this game. Really needed Gibson to go 6-7 innings at least.
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 LOL Now we're complaining even if he DOES make the catch?not complaining. Just pointing out that he put his glove up and it as like 'Look what I found' (after he opened his eyes and looked up and actually saw it in his glove).

I believe Sano would go D) all of the above, and in fairness, so would I...
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 LOL Now we're complaining even if he DOES make the catch? That "catch" doesn't concern you?
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Rosario is so damn frustrating half the time.
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 That "catch" doesn't concern you?he closed his eyes and put his glove up.
bird Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 All in all, I'd have to say John Ryan Murphy has had very little impact on the season so far. I don't know, jaimedude2, do we DFA him?
