spinowner Provisional Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Grrr. Gotta make a comeback. C'mon, Perk, tighten up and let's get it back in the bottom of the inning.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Seems like a peculiar pitching change. I thought Santana was in a groove and simply gave up a lucky lob shot. SwainZag 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Perk is like "nah I have some golfing to do"
gocgo Verified Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 The Royals are not looking baffled by Perk.
Twodogs Verified Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Looks like the Twins are in a tough situation, Houston is up on AZ by 5
drock2190 Verified Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Thats game and that's season!
spinowner Provisional Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 This is not how I wanted things to happen.
Twodogs Verified Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Shows a lack of confidence in Perk, walking a lefty
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Get Perk out of there. Rios is hitting nearly 400 against him. He shouldn't have pitched to Zobrist. Danchat 1

AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 In retrospect, perhaps Santana should have stayed in.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 The vikes gon' shock da world on Sunday in Denver, at least. drock2190 1
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I wonder why they didn't go to Cotts if they needed a lefty.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Okay, at least Molitor is pulling Perkins before a complete avalanche. One point for seeing it wasn't getting any better.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 In retrospect, perhaps Santana should have stayed in.Not sure there was much retro there. I certainly spect'd at the time.
akmanak Verified Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 If you were surprised by the outcome of this game you were simply blinded by being a fan. My prediction is almost there when I mentioned we would lost 6-1. I was wrong by the good game Santana tossed. Was a successful season and a fun one to watch. Next year will be great.
OldTimeTwinkie Provisional Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I am so sick of watching Perkins and Pelfrey thinks it's so important to throw seeds at whoever is being interviewed during a game. During a very important game I guess that's important, bullsxxxx Danchat 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 If this is indeed the end, pretty sad way to go out. Young was hanging meatball after meatball and we haven't had a hit since the second inning. Second straight night of putrid offense. No can do in October DaveW 1
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Just not enough reliable guys in the pen. Perk's reliable when he's healthy, but he's not. Too bad.

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 (edited) Well that was a waste of 5 months. Ryan, time to step down.At least they got the inevitable Minnesota let down out of the way early in the weekend.Go Vikings.Go Wild. Fire Ryan.Get well soon Flip! DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Still a great year and we proved to the majority of the critics wrong. What critics? Finishing 7th out of 15 teams in the AL is not some great achievement FYI.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I can't look at Trevor may without seeing a slimmer private Pyle from full metal jacket SwainZag 1
Danchat Verified Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I don't want to pile the hate on Perkins... but how many games has he lost in this playoff race? Ugh. Molitor needs to figure out how to use his bullpen better. Too many "WTF" decisions so far. May should have been out there right after Santana.

Taking a team that has lossed 90 or more games in 4 seasons to a team that will have a winning record and your want to fire Ryan? Take some Xanax kid and we will see you when next season. spinowner, SwainZag and Hrbowski 3
