sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Yeah... That's how you get there. You don't swim to the Top... You gotta climb it. The path to the top of the food chain is a series of trees, step ladders and playground equipment. I hesitate to ask, but what which food chain did you climb to the top of? McDonalds? With the billions and billions served? I think they're like the Cardinals of the food chains, but with two arches... Just don't step in the special sauce. I know they often had kiddy play areas, that's why i speculated as such... Any recommendations so far, should anyone be passing through Michigan? Riverbrian 1
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 When I look at the Twins shopping list which should just be bull pen arms, I'm not seeing much out there. Chapman...but we don't need a closer. So, how about this - we go after a starting pitcher. Whaaaaa? We have too many of those already! But what about moving Pelfrey to the BP? Would it tick him off? Sure. Is he gone after this year anyway? Probably. Is he better than some of the current BP arms? I think so. I don't think we need to get into the bidding war for Cueto, but there are some other quality arms out there who might improve both our rotation and our pen in one shot.Chapman is probably the best reliever in baseball. I'd say we could find some way to use him!
Blake Verified Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I don't know.......... Where does she stand on the sacrifice bunt??More importantly, DH or pitcher flails? (Flails - Fails..one letter difference. Coincidence? I think not) Riverbrian 1

How about Mat Latos AND either AJ Ramos or Carter Capps in trade? The Marlins are definitely sellers and payroll cutters- both would be big upgrades, plus renting latos at low current value, and overall not for the cost of mortgaging the farm. So much for the "paper of record". Typification of NYC in their own reality bubble.
