Great to see Arcia go for that second out, even greater to see Hicks take charge and catch it, and greatest yet to see Arcia peel off rather than go for it.

Weird game. Except for 4 consecutive batters, Bauer pitched great. I know the dude has some baggage and I guess day dreaming is a part of it. I wonder what he was thing about? Care Bears, Unicorns, Farm Animal Romance? I guess we will never know.

Notes from a TIVO watcher in the middle of the 7th. If Mays EVER gets control of his fastball, his change up seems outstanding. Because of his control issues it's under appreciated. But, why, when it seems he struggles from the stretch does he use it with a guy on third. Someone should tell him that Rod Carew retired a few years ago. Lastly watching a few of the younger guys hit, makes one think this at least could be an entertaining team to watch some day.

Agreed- Arcia went Boom! on what appeared to be a 3/4 swing, and he didn't pull it right down the line.  Hopefully he builds on that.  No need to swing so hard you separate your shoulder.

We are all happy that you speak pseudoFrench, etc. But that SPR terrifying screech you just heard from the Tiger tank, followed by its dragon belch and lurch to the right down your street, means that it's time to shut off the Edith Piaf record and make sure the detonator wires are connected...
