You are a GM.  You are told you have to have one of Bellasario or Burton in your bullpen.

Which one do you take?

Great list...except for the Henrix :)

And you're totally WRONG on the Steely Dan comment. WRONG I tells you. Just...wrong.

Give her some funked up music... She treats you nice... Feed her some hungry reggae... She'll love you twice... The girls don't seem to care what's on... As long as it plays til dawn.

No Static at All.

Wrong... I think not.

With Jimi... He's a polarizing act. You either love him or hate him. I've never been a fan of his vocals but that song... Little Wing is beyond words good. That one came down from the heavens and Jimi was just the earthly vehicle it arrived in. When you hear someone who can really sing do it. It sends chills down your spine. "Its alright... She says its alright... Take anything that you want from me... Anything".

With Joe... I can listen to him all day... I just think he blew the interpretation of the song. Dave Mason wrote it as a song of sadness. The girl was working him over... It's sarcastic sadness... You Feelin alright... I'm not feeling to good myself" when Joe sings it with the background singers... It sounds like a party. It wasn't. Joe's fault tho and I still enjoy his version. However... Joe wasn't expecting to tour. He showed up in America to relax... Hang out and get stoned. He was informed that he was contractually obligated to do some gigs in America. He had to throw a show together quickly and. Leon Russell was the guy who was hired to put it together... The material... The arrangements. And it was Leon... While working real fast that changed the sentiment of the song.

All in All...it's a nitpick because Joe and his band put on a great last minute show and it cemented Joe as one of the greatest singers of our lifetimes.

Was it against he Twins that the umpire had to get Bellasario to wipe off his arm? I saw a game about a week ago - Bellisario had a big glob of rosin on his pitching forearm (by the wrist) and the umpire told him to wipe it off. Reminded me of that time Worley threw a couple dustballs against the Tigers - opening day last year IIRC.

The level these guys will stoop to...

Why does it say zero warning points by my name? Did I have some warning at one time?

Not necessarily. Each person can see their warning points that mods have given them. If you've never had one, it will still say zero.

No, it means you have zero warning points.  Has nothing to do with ever having any, it's just showing you you are at zero.  And hopefully will stay at zero. :)

Ain't music great...when I hear Joe Cocker's version, not only do I think "that arrangement is a million times better than the original," I think "Cocker sounds so much more distraught.  Like the song is supposed to be about."

Plus, I really love the piano work.

I could be wrong, of course.

I must be a bit too glass half empty with the Twins for some reason, because I just assumed they would not get he lead back.  I feel like a bad fan and should have more faith in my team.

The Minnesota in me says "There's still the bottom of the 8th to get through."

I got to chose the song for the father-daughter dance at my daughter's wedding...Pachelbel's Canon in D.

The WhiteSox self destruct against the Twins much like the Twins do against the Yankees.

I turn in my resignation because it'll be quicker than taking one of them and getting fired.
