kdrupp09 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Does anyone else hate extras? Now I've gotta be distracted at work for easily another 10, 20, 30 minutes. Ties would be fine with me. I am enjoying the excuse to be distracted at work.
kdrupp09 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Ok Parm, a nice long single wins the game.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 *shakes head in disbelief* Where did this Kurt Suzuki come from? Fundamental scouting and coaching >> my ability to look at stat lines
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Damn it. Come on, Hicks. Last guy I want to see at the plate right now.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I am enjoying the excuse to be distracted at work. My wife -- the other half-owner of the business -- groans when she sees me at the idiot screen. Bad example for the employees, don't ya know.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Fundamental scouting and coaching >> my ability to look at stat lines I think deep down, even Kurt Suzuki is surprised by Kurt Suzuki.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 *shakes head in disbelief* Where did this Kurt Suzuki come from? I don't follow baseball like I used to, but whenever we played against him, I usually came away with a positive opinion of his performance.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 And that's what I get for trashing Hicks. I'll take that every day. Aaron Hicks, you're awful. The worst. You eat babies on off days.
James Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 How about a little doink somewhere?- Bert Blyleven He called it in the most ridiculous fashion.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Hicks with the winner - who called that?
ericchri Provisional Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Hoping this is the start of good mojo for Hicks!

notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I wonder if Hicks knew who he was facing that AB.
James Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Hicks with the winner - who called that?Bert did.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 We can play with Detroit and Boston, but Cleveland gives us issues.
Reider Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Looks like Perkins is buying Hicks, Suzuki, and probably Hughes, steaks tonight. Nice win! Nice series win!
Reider Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 We can play with Detroit and Boston, but Cleveland gives us issues.Cleveland scored 15 runs yesterday against the Jays. Not saying the Jays have the best pitching or are the best defensive team in the league, but Cleveland doesn't have a terrible team.

WLFINN Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 They can't be beat in those rubber games.....
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Really - with the butterfly effect on things - if the Twins would have kept Ortiz, things might have changed in the timelne so that they would neve have gotten Hicks and we never would have won this game. Sometimes things work out they way they are suppose to work.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 "Who's your daddy now?" - A. Hicks Didja start the new job?
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Didja start the new job? Yup. In training for about six weeks. Today: adventures in Oracle.
