Mostly picked off is slightly on base. With all picked off, well, with all picked off there's usually only one thing you can do.

I really thought Burton might be done after his April.

 

Looks like the Twins were right to keep him and let him work through his issues.

 

Isn't the life of a reliever pretty volatile? Two bad outings and you're sunk...it'll take you 10 good outings to make up for it.

Yeah, but Burton wasn't doing anything right. In April, he walked eight guys and struck out four. He had several outings that didn't tag him with earned runs but he was pretty miserable overall.

I don't think they'll have much of a choice, particularly with Parmelee on the 25 man.

 

Particularly as Arcia/Willingham/Fuld start to get healthy. Arcia and Willingham both are going to get games as DH, so I think that Cola is a roster squeeze to make room.

It is - in Burton's first 9 outings he gave up 9 runs. It was especially volatile. He's only allowed 1 run since.... so, that's a pretty solid turnaround.

On another note, it seems like it might be useful character to be able to type... a backwards K. Is there already a way of doing it? Or if i do i get to figure it out for myself (if i decide i care)
