LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 That was a nice running catch by Escobar a while back. It's not his fault he's out there, and he's making the best of an intolerable situation.http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rGNSd4aQswU/TwI9Zntyl1I/AAAAAAAABh8/Quyl_6Hk4gg/s1600/last%2Bcrusade.gifIntolerable!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 Cola mashing in two runs. LOL... How can you not love baseball.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 how do you score two runs on a ground ball to short?
edavis0308 Provisional Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Runners on 2nd and 3rd....no outs. Runners on 2nd and 3rd........two outs. well I cant wait to see how this ends.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 How is that not an error? Dozier doesn't score if Cabrera fields it.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Okay, have at it, boys. I'm done defending anything this front office does right now. Unbelievable. I don't even care about Brooks Raley but MATT GUERRIER?It's no sweat if you just remind yourself that the Twins are in the entertainment business, not the winning baseball games business. Wins are just a gold star on the refrigerator calendar.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 They lost Brooks Raley. To keep Matt Guerrier. Okay, have at it, boys. I'm done defending anything this front office does right now. Unbelievable. I don't even care about Brooks Raley but MATT GUERRIER? Every rebuilding team should cut guys in their 20s to bring up 35 year old RP. It's the new market inefficiency. Like injured college RP being drafted early rounds.

John Kelsey Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Are the official scorers in Cleveland the same people making roster moves for the Twins? I thought Santana should have had a hit at the start of the inning, and not giving Cabrera an error there is inconceivable.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Oh my... That was quick... Raley better be terrible...You mean, like felony terrible?
kdrupp09 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Got the tying run on 1st now. I really am going to quit making game related comments.

Unbelievable. I don't even care about Brooks Raley but MATT GUERRIER? And, we have this somewhat confusing series of tweets from Berardino: Mike Berardino @MikeBerardino 2h Guerrier says #mntwins never came to him with a request to push back today's opt-out date. Wasn't sure what he would have done if they had. Mike Berardino @MikeBerardino 10m Now #mntwins tell me Brooks Raley was DFA'd earlier this week, placed on outright waivers Tuesday. 48-hour period just expired today. Mike Berardino @MikeBerardino 10m Only possible reason to conceal DFA status for Raley that I can think of is to keep the leverage with Guerrier's agent on opt-out date. Presumably the first tweet now just means that the Twins were talking with Matty G's agent not Guerrier himself. But I haven't understood the warrior love since ST and I still don't get it now.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 But I haven't understood the warrior love since ST and I still don't get it now. You will never understand the Twins front office until you grasp the fact that there is no spoon.http://www.yogaleaks.com/storage/spoonboy.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1348263007275Great update, btw. If the Twins were a branch of government, a congressional committee would have already been appointed to investigate.

Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 How about that Danny Santana?
Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Herrmann couldn't score on that? Yikes. At least his OPS is almost up to .300
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Go young guys (or somewhat young guys)!
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 That Santana plays a mean baseball.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Danny Santana for mayor... ...of the universe. At least Herrmann didn't slide head first into halfway between home and first.
