You don't have to stay awake after a concussion. It used to be the normal practice, but not anymore.

But sorry in advance if you don't wake up.

I've been watching this game closely since the beginning. I go to the kitchen for one minute and I miss Escobar's home run.

Yeah... Unless it's for ice cream... I wait for commercials.

and John Axford continues on his path of tearing his career up and flushing it down the toilet. So glad the Twins could be a part of it! He hadn't blown a save since yesterday.

When a batted ball carries beyond the outfield fence on the fly, it's considered a home run.

OK, go over that for me one more time. Slower this time please.

24 hours and your wife has to shine a light in your eyes every 28 minutes.

And please see a physician if the erection lasts more than four hours.

Today... They use leeches and Ticks.

Seriously... What did you do?

Sounds like the last week before each of our children was born.

Now normal practice is to sue the NFL.

Separate question for the internet medical experts, but how long do you have to stay awake after suffering a potential concussion?

If you're serious, diehard, I'd suggest a trip to the ER.

I'm fine with it. Gotta be aggressive when nobody is hitting.

My guess is the contact play was on. If he doesn't go, it's likely a DP anyway.

Not sure if I have one... playing softball tonight with someone doing a chuck Knoblauch impression :) I'm not a tall guy, and had to back into the runners path and leap to catch the ball. He didn't get out of the way, and I was the defenseless receiver...

Had a bit of a headache afterwards... Weird thing was about 15 minutes later, my vision would black out when I could feel my heart beat... Minus the back pain, feeling better now and seem normal.

My dogs beard often takes on a perfect Confederate General look. I love it, but my wife keeps cutting it off in the summer when its always soaking wet.

did Bert really say... "three of the last two pitches Axford has thrown..." after the Escobar homer?

Yeah, Esco-bear isn't due up for several more batters.

Plouffe's not slow and it wasn't hit hard. But I understand Dozier doesn't have time to assess that. Still he had no chance of scoring there.

You could fly down to Fort Myers and ask him.

It might be better to ask that question in the emergency room.

Oh yeah, no problem. My coaches always said that it was just getting your bell rung.

What?

If you blacked out at all you should go to ER or urgent care.

Well of course he didn't have a chance, but I also think it was a contact play, which means it's not his decision to make, really.

Plouffe's not slow

Jamey Carroll pinch ran for Plouffe one time last season. That's all I need to know.
