  1. It was a dumb idea to have him play all over. I said it at the time as I wanted him to focus on SS. He would have just been sent down after substantial time at SS. For a risk averse organization that was a dumb move.
  2. When the trade was made I had very low expectations as the primary motive was to get rid of JD. What a pleasant surprise both Sanchez and Urshela have been.
  3. Pitching is the name of the game. Always has been. They are too thin in both the rotation and the bullpen so yea that’s something to be worried about.
  4. Obviously happy that he is having success. His ability to go to the opposite field has served him well. I still believe in TKs adage that you don’t really know what you have in a hitter until they get 1000 to 1500 at bats.
  5. He doesn’t have the command necessary to be much more than he is right now. If it takes 80 pitches to get thru 4 innings you are not really a starter. Sorry Dr Ghast. He might be able to provide some length in the bullpen. They have to find someone to pitch multiple innings out of the pen.
  6. I think Gordon’s versatility is under appreciated. With the injuries and non vaxxers not getting into Canada we will find him playing regularly in the near future.
  7. I’m not sure who I would choose. What I am sure of is they can’t mess around and have Kepler miss a couple games that turns into 5 or 6. If he’s not ready tomorrow IL him.
  8. Well they should have never signed him in the first place so I’m not going to give Falvine refit for dumping him.
  9. I believe ha played 11 games. I’m excited about the future of Royce Lewis but let’s calm down a little.
  10. Whoa. Let’s let him pitch a bit before we declare him master predator or whatever.
  11. Yes. Easily. Relax and enjoy that this hard working young man left a pile on the table to be a Minnesota Twin.
  12. Royce Lewis will be the Twins starting SS for the next 10 years starting next year. It’s in everyone’s best interest for him to play a lot at short. He’s done fine in the field but can improve a lot That ain’t gonna happen with him wandering around playing a bunch of positions he’s never going to play again. A little third base would be fine but he just needs most of his reps to be at SS.
  13. He is coming on strong. Last year at this time he was playing Wisconsin high school baseball.
  14. Well written article containing some under the radar info. Getting ahead would surely make him look like a different pitcher and may get some chases on the splitter. However I think people are expecting him to be something that he’s not. He’s a bullpen piece not some dominant reliever.
  15. Lack of luck…..hmmmm that was much closer to a butt kickin.
  16. Jeffers couldn’t throw out my grandmother. I mean he might not throw a runner in May. Teams like the Astros will just abuse him.
  17. If we are going to make proclamations based on SSS the last several starts don’t bode well for our club. Bundy and Archer are starting to look like the long shots they always were.
  18. I’m not sure about what should happen. Injuries will likely decide. However they should NOT keep the 6 man rotation which allows for equal starts for Ryan and Winder as Bundy and Archer. Give your best pitchers the most starts.
  19. Since I’m paying $90 month to watch BSN this is great news. I will drop ATT and save $70 month.
  20. Apparently everyone has forgotten that Lewis hasn’t played in two years and has big developmental needs at SS. He will be our SS next year and needs all the reps he can get. So no he will not be playing a different position this year for the Twins. And no Correa will not be playing for the Twins next year unless something really bad happens.
  21. Here is my highly unqualified medical opinion on Kiriloff he is going to take a swing and some scar tissue is going to pop and he will be pain free.
  22. Vallimont with another rough start. His 40 man spot is circling the drain right now.
