    I've really had enough of 2 out of three of these bullpen options , really all three but thought I'd be nice since we only have 2 pitchers at AAA to replace them ... THE HITTING WASN'T ALL THAT GREAT , I wish Rocco would realize and play alittle small ball when there is a pitchers duel .... I'm really getting tired of our manager and can't believe a word he says ..... He said if we have a lead we will use our better pitching in those situations , we were leading 1-0 and he brings in the mop up crew and each surrenders 3 runs a piece .... With the lead and a winnable game this would have been a great test to use our new acquisitions to shut down toronto .... IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT TEST ....

    Bullpen has been a glaring weakness for some time ,,, I wouldn't go as far as saying it it a strength yet but it is improved , Lopez has had a great season in his first year being a reliever ( converted starter ) , Fulmer should be reliable ,,,, mahler could thrive away from Cincinnati hitter friendly park ,,, Leon had couple of good years with Boston offensively and defensively , I look forward to him blocking more pitches and keep runners from scoring from third base on a wild pitch .... Go twins , yes they are better it seems but we still have to play good fundamental games and not beat ourselves ....

    Mikey Perez , first at bat in AAA and hits a homerun ..... The kid has passion for the game , maybe he will be a good prospect ,,, passion carries you a long ways towards succeeding...

    The FO planned to be competitive and they have been in a weak division ... They did not plan to contend for the playoffs from my point of view by not addressing the bullpen ... The yankees goal in spring training is to win a world series , everyone hates them .... The twins need to be like the yankees ( yes I know there a big revenue team ) , my point is the yankees have a killer instinct that they have instilled into their players from rookie ball to the majors ,,, when was the last time the twins had a 10 game winning streak ...

    I was going write the same thing about mahler's ineffectiveness in Cincinnati , away from Cincinnati he has good numbers and let's hope that he does well with the twins .... THE PRICE SURE HAS GONE UP .... we trade berrios to Toronto for 2 prospects last year .... This year we trade 3 prospects for mahler .... The price is steep but I feel confident that mahler will do well as a twin ...

    It's a different miranda now ... What a change from the start of his season ,,, he's having fun and showing lots of Confidence ... I predict miranda will be the team leader in RBI's if they can keep him healthy

    The twins come out of the break and win the 2 game series against Detroit ... Twins move on to Milwaukee and Sano is activated for first game , goes 0 for 2 ,,,, Twins have lost 2 games in a row to brewers since Sano was activated ,,, I think he came into the game today and played first base and had a couple at bats , not really sure , I didn't pay much attention after the second 3 run honer by Rowdy.... On to San Diego for a series this weekend ,,,, not expecting much so if they do win the series I'll be that much more excited ....

    Another winnable game that slipped away .... Everyone knows our bullpen is bad ,,, Use the 2 best bullpen arms late in the game ( jax and Duran ) , jax goes out and usually pitches good right after the starter departs ... Doesn't Rocco have any trust in jax to pitch in pressure situation .... Duffey in the ninth must of been the plan ,,,, I don't ever trust him , even in his good years ...

    If you want stuff from China that is junk with low quality , you pay very little for it ,,,, If you want something that is made in USA with higher quality you pay a premium price ... There is a difference .... If the twins FO are to make a trade and have the GUTS to do so for top quality arms , I'm all for it ,,, If they just go after somebody with a pulse for depth i say stand pat and just enjoy the season ,,,, It's been alot better than the total system failure of 2021 ....

    They all have to play the games and the twins are ahead with a 3 1/2 game lead .... Do the Twins have what it takes to be a contender at this moment , I would say no .... Competitive I would say yes ... Trade deadline could change everything for twins and the central division challengers .... I don't have much faith in FO going after top quality arms ,,, they really have never given us that luxury ,,, sonny gray and maeda are good but not top quality as far as trades go ....

    If trading with Oakland ,,, I would be interested in Murphy and a relief pitcher like puk .... Still not convinced that montas is completely healthy and might break down again before the season is over

    I must of been out to lunch ,,, I never heard he bet during his playing days , I did see him admit to Giovanni that he bet on games during his managing career .... Thanks for the update and I'll look further into this ....

    To my knowledge it was never proven that rose bet on games during his playing career ... I guess it can be assumed he did , and if it was proven than I could see the lifetime ban on the hall of fame ....

    Moran got the first 2 outs and then walked the next 2 batters ,,, This seems like a common occurrence with our bullpen ,,, duffey , pagan too ... Why does this happen ???? ...

    The hall of fame voting process is definitely flawed ,,, There are still players worthy of the hall that aren't in the hall of fame and there are players that were voted in the hall of fame that are barely borderline ..... Hank Aaron is still the homerun champion in my heart ... What pete rose did as a player deserves to be a hall of Famer too ... What he did after his playing days should have no bearing on his election .... 1 commissioner suspends him for illegal activities after his playing days were over ,,, it's time to forgive and forget and have Pete rose in the hall of fame with a plaque

    I thought the same thing when looking at standings that it might not be right ..... Some good in the second half will be , Good days and bad days of twins baseball .... Players impressing , and players that are depressing especially the dumpster diving pitchers they keep signing , they signed another yester , Feliz .....

    With all our injuries again this year and montas shoulder injury in early July , I would not trade for him thinking if he is healthy now before the trade deadline , the shoulder injury would likely reappear right before the playoffs and shut him down ... Winder , I would not trade at all , we developed the kid through our system and I have like everything I have seen of him on the mound , he's to good of a talent to trade and seems like the only bulldog we have , but I guess if his value is high and the twins think his pitching may flounder ,,, than trade him , I so far see a solid arm in winder when healthy .... We need help , we don't have a surplus of pitching at AAA ,,, the twins need to trade what we have a surplus of and that's infielders and a few outfielders .... We aren't going to like what the FO does unless they can trade sano for more than a bucket of balls ...
