I'm on the radio today, but it sounds like Lewis has been decent at 2nd. Does anybody watching the game have anything positive or negative to say about him at second?

He did well.

Speaking of Hoffman.  I could see him taking over the closer job in 2027.  He is still signed though next season.  Morris/Funderburk should slide into the 8th.  Funderburk has looked a lot better in this iteration.

If Festa were to come back healthy in the spring? Maybe he has a role? Kendry Rojas has real promise somewhere on this pitching staff.

Trout appears to be the Angels’ Buxton

but with HOF credentials

Trout was an absolutely insane talent between 2012 and 2022. His stats are what we all hoped Buxton might someday produce (but never did). Somewhere in those 10 years, Trout might have been the best baseball player of all time. Age and injuries have reduced his productivity considerably these last 4 seasons.

and again  -  no add on runs when they were there -  were not a good team fellas

No way you run this same group back out there in '27. I'd rather lose 100 games trying to find gamers.

I haven't heard anything about Festa in quite some time.  I'm not even sure he will have a career at this point.  Rojas will just need to clean up his command and I think he will be fine.

I don't see it coming.  Hoffman is already going to be paid $7.25M next season.  From a Twins standpoint, he is being paid what Falvey/Zoll tried to pay an entire bullpen this last offseason.
