Sucks to see several pages battling our roster mess.  The deadline offered high value for Jeffers and likely could've provided space to move some of our OF glut to reduce most of the problems discussed here.

Instead...misfit roster.

Jackson is a single roster spot and has a positive WAR. His run last night as a pinch runner was the critical run in the game.

There is ample chaff to go after. Gray, Roden, Martin. Positions where we have ample depth and individuals who can be optioned.

You are giving him credit for scoring a run as a pinch runner??? Do you realize almost anyone on this board could probably score as a pinch runner? That is a very strange take.

Trading Jeffers leaves us with 0 mlb caliber catcher.  That's the problem moving him. If they lose him this off season they better have a plan to replace him.

Better start working on that plan, he's already gone.

Your AI was hallucinating

Oh well, let that be a lesson to us; "AI can make mistakes, so double-check responses".  But is was pretty close, Twins did send him to St. Paul.  Wait, let me double-check that! 😁

Just don't us AI? I mean, all the info is available from actual websites like MLBTRADERUMORS, for example.

At the time, none of the reliable websites had anything. I cruised them all. If it was available, why didn't TD report it? I do appreciate the call out, factual reporting is important.  This was my bad.

Gray has officially become the pebble in the Twins shoes.  At AAA he will be blocking the call up of Houston.  Any teams need a bag of balls with some peanuts thrown in?

I am willing to bet 100% of the posters could not have scored on that play. He is likely the 3rd fastest player on the team right now with Buxtons injury. The ideal 13 player is player that can provide defensive value, be a pinch runner and have a decent contact bat and be productive all while getting minimal opportunities. The disdain of you and Harmon seems misplaced.

Let’s get all the posters out to run. We might need a couple ambulances LOL.

Agree. Houston should be in St. Paul right now, and with the TWins as soon as 2027 season starts. LFG with the real infield going forward.

Hell, I can barely walk any more. Fortunately cognitive decline is taking its sweet time.

My whole point is revolving around Jackson and his lack of a role on this team.  I want 13 players that can contribute to the team by having a defined role, Jackson has no role other than they are worried about losing for 2027.

Great.  I get your point, but you made a specific reference to having a speed guy off the bench.  It's kind of pointless if you don't have a solution and I just don't know who that would be within our system.

With an average age of likely 50to 60 the assertion anyone on this board could score is hilarious hyperbole at best or grossly inaccurate at worst. We are more likely to have a member have a heart attack.

How much leeway will the fans give Culpepper? If he is 0 for 10 this weekend I expect to see people here calling for Marek Houston.

Probably a 7% chance at 0-10. Id be closerto actuality to guess .400 obp in his first 10 pa. Either way…. He will have a very long leash.

But it does let you weed out who to place on ignore.

That would be a first, crossing home plate with a walker!😁

Culpepper advanced from A+ to AA after 54 games last season, and stayed there the rest of the year. He started this year at AAA and is being recalled after 74 games.

Houston advanced from A+ to AA after 56 games, odds are he'll be at AA the rest of the year. He'll start next season at AAA also and 75 games gets him called up on or before July 1. Their GP at A are very similar as well.

Houston has put up better numbers at each stop, but I think the Twins move him up at the same rate they advanced Culpepper.

I'm not in love with that idea....which is why I typed what I typed. I don't for one minute think they will do what I want with Houston though.....

Clearly Josh Bell would be the pinch runner of choice.

Same timeline the team used with Keaschall, except they recalled him after 14 games at AAA.

Gray can play 2B. He’s not blocking anyone.

I actually checked to see if he went to the University of Iowa. Can't understand your love for him. But everyone needs love i guess.

Don't know where you got the 100% but feel free to make up your own story. Fact is, if you are looking for a pinch runner specialist and take up a roster spot with your unneeded 3rd catcher, good thing you aren't a GM.
