  1. Spring training with an infield of Lee 3B, Houston SS, Culpepper 2B, Clemens at 1B. Just to see how it plays. Houston has hit adequate to great wherever he played. BTW, back in late May Clemens was leading all of baseball in runs saved at 1B. Maybe he could have been the Twin's threepeat of a gold glove.
  2. I kind of would like them to bring back Hank Conger as some kind of a bench coach. He was responsible for our aggressive and successful running game at the end of last season. With the call-up of some of our new speedsters, we could have a very exciting team.
  3. Playing for draft lottery position now. Cross your fingers.
  4. How can Caden Kendle not be considered one of our top 20 prospects? Being 24 yrs old should not be a factor.
  5. I'm just putting this out there. What if we released BB... and moved on.
  6. The Varland trade will haunt us for eternity. What the H**l were they thinking???
  7. I will double down on this. It was almost never over, until it was over. Minnesota (Grinders) Twins!
  8. I am a Buxton fan, but "what if" he just sat down and said my season is over. From the first diagnosis there was no way he was coming back at full strength. That is the only Byron we needed.
  9. Brooks "Mr. Cluctch" Lee. He's a ballplayer.
  10. Good call, but I see Houston down in the order when the lineup turns over. Speed at the end, and beginning
  11. I am going to be hated for this but, why would Buck give up an easy gig where he is not held accountable, and people still make him feel appreciated.
  12. Twins have a system? So far it has been a systemic failure of our pitcher's health. The best influence Lackey can have on the team is keeping our pitcher's from blowing up. He is athletic enough on the defensive side. He's been there done that. Plus he can hit, run, and has a nice smile. ☺️
  13. He's a fine catcher for a meh team. I hope we can raise our standards.
  14. Jeffers is not good enough based on his SSS in the most recent years to demand that amount of money. We have the hottest catcher pipeline in the majors. We don't need to pay a catcher 1/6 of our payroll, especially of just one or two years.
  15. Butch Wynegar, from A ball to the Twins at just 20 yrs. old. That worked out pretty good.
  16. Nothing to be embarrassed about. What would have been embarrassing is if he had struck out.
  17. The numbers dictate it, plus have you ever noticed the other players are always in his ear in the dugout? Chili Davis reincarnated.
  18. Buck needs to step back and take a lesser role (RF or LF) but still stay large in the clubhouse
  19. How many games have the Twins lost because of their indecisiveness regarding Buxton, when he was totally ineffectual, have cost the Twins?
