I was very disappointed the teams crossed the picket line earlier this year. And thousands of fans.

Professional athletes are largely some of the most selfish people you’ll ever meet. They couldn’t give less of a flip about the guy making $12 an hour.

And I love baseball and sports. But a lot of these guys are not people you’d ever care about otherwise. They and the owners can have eachother.

What does the MLBPA do that benefits you? As a fan?

As a human, who cares about other people not being exploited? Free agency. Freedom to play where people want to live. You know, rights. I'm not so self centered I don't care about other people.

I responded wow to your comment we'd be better off with all new players....

Same question to you, but for owners or literally anyone who treats anything that is shared as a tear down for private equity?

I always have labor.

"Labor." Hahahaha.

We're talking about the MLBPA here. Not pipefitter local 129.

They dont even have their own. They don't give a rat's behind about minor league pro players, nor the hundreds of major leaguers not hitting free agency.

There are no oppressed or unfairly treated MLB players.

If the new set-up brings back Wally The Beerman, it is a good set-up, wait -  it was the Twin Cities  gestapo that killed jobs like his.

We won't agree on this, ever. Not sure what you're trying to prove to me. We've been over this ...

Pay for quick food joints has been in the mid teens since the oughts in the Twin Cities area, mostly due though to, kids today do not want to do manual labor.

One thing to think about...America glorifies sports...high priority for many...people buy clothes with names of their players...spend hard earned money on tickets..NFL streaming...etc...so it is somewhat challenging to fault the players when many people go all out to support this cultural entity...hard pressed for any of us to admit that we would not attempt to get a max salary for a relatively short period in our lives as a pro athlete

If we’re talking pro labor here, I would want the majority of baseball players to make millions of dollars based on merit. Once they hit service time milestones they’re eligible for higher salaries.
