AceBee Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago SMH...Q. what would it take to advance the runner Ans: last out of the inning
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The bullpen is looking quite thin here. Do we trust the new guy Anderson on back to back days?
Hawkeye Bean Counter Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago We have had 3 innings of at bats, and have been unable to move the runner to 3rd during the 1st at bat. Come on guys, this is simple baseball. Move runner, hit a sac fly and drive them in. Church of Kreidler and AceBee 1 1

Do we trust the new guy Anderson on back to back days? At this point he is the most trustworthy and hasn't pitched. Most likely isn't going to end well which is why we need runs. Oh ok so its 2 games Oh did he get on base 5 times yesterday and score 2 runs? Oh you mean 3 games Also I would be a millionaire for the number times people wanted Larnach off this team, traded, not to offer the arbitration - he isn't worth $4 million. You are talking out of both sides of your mouth. You think a player who has been in the big leagues 5 years needs the at bats that hasn't shown much more than Roden during that time period until this year. Its just bizarre and weird and seems that you have an agenda against him. At this point - I think its pointless to continue to discuss things with you. You want to replace someone who is hitting .292 with and OPS of .839, that sounds bizzare to me. And what has Roden done in his major league stints with us and Toronto to warrant making that move. Now if there is an injury or trade, he might be next man up and that is fine, even though I would prefer Jenkins in that scenario. But I am not forcing him into the lineup just because we traded for him.
