Like this team a lot more than the past couple seasons. They’ve left themselves little to no margin for error. Big game today and upcoming series at Cleveland looms large.

Wont be able to watch the game, catching a ACDC concert 40 years later than I would have liked but better than never, need to cut back on the walks, play better defense and run the bases like a MLB team….. basically sound fundamental baseball. A series win would be great, but getting back to clean baseball and back to.500 and hanging in the postseason hunt will keep the rest of the season fun.

A new way to get all three of Caratini, Jeffers, and Bell into the lineup. Royce at 2B.. hmm.  Lefty SP means Larnach sits; Kriedler plays.

Saw ACDC around '79 or so (Bon Scott)  in RC SD.  Opened for Aerosmith and put on 10 times better show.

Connor Prielipp (blister) is scheduled to throw 3 innings or 45 pitches in a rehab outing with the St. Paul Saints today.
 

Abel and Festa won’t pitch again in 2026. 
 

Raya and Sands scheduled to pitch Tuesday.

In Shelton's pregame discussion about what he hopes to see out of Zebby today, he remarked about the Cubs being a very patient hitting team.  Two batters in and 4 pitches.  I wish the Twins could catch that patience virture.

PLEASE don't tell me we're saving him to begin the Cleveland series.  He should have pitched yesterday -- four days after pitching one inning in the AS Game.  Then, he could have started the Thursday game in Cleveland.
