I don't know where that pitch was supposed to be.  Jeffers didn't move much like he was expecting that pitch there.  If that's the case, it was bad selection rather than bad execution.  You usually try not to hang an off-speed pitch right in the swing of a power RH bat.

It is for Ober. But the bar wasn't very high. He was experienced enough to escape what the other two guys still need to figure out.

My view of Bradley has been that he just cannot handle traffic on the bases.  Gives up a solo HR, he's fine.  It's the people on base that seem to get him out of rhythm and he will melt down.  Not exactly a #2 starter.

I really wish they would just leave Lewis at 1B.  The goal should be to find players that can excel at one position, not have everyone moving around.
