But then he says they emphasize defense and so they move Keaschall for better defense but insert Gray at SS.  There is still no plan for this organization.  More every day I want Zoll gone so we could get some direction towards being better than a .500 team.

I'm ok with the team being near .500 as many people on this site would have called a .500 season a success before the season started.  Being a rudderless .500 is frustrating.  The White Sox are on the opposite side of .500 and seem to have a core that can play together.  I don't see Zoll being gone until after the new CBA is signed.

I am not unhappy with it for this year, but I don't see this team being any more than that going forward without a change in the organization.  And the longer they wait the further behind they get.  Zoll could really set this organization back with the wrong decisions at the trade deadline.   And I think they need a complete review of the whole baseball operations side of the house and the sooner the better.  And it isn't going to happen with Zoll in charge.

Martin or Fedko in CF is better than Gray at SS.  Keep Kreidler at SS and leave Gray on the bench.  I would not bet the house that Kreidler stays and Gray is the one gone if and when Culpepper is called up.  The Twins have shown a preference to have Gray at short whether Buxton is in the lineup or not.

I wouldn't say that Gray is the preferred option at shortstop, but maybe Shelton and his staff see Gray as acceptable at short. Kreidler started several games at short against right handers recently. The numbers and the eye test don't agree, but if Gray is supposed be on the team, he needs to be an acceptable shortstop. Culpepper for Gray makes sense, although the Twins would lose a left handed hitter. Kreidler is not going anywhere. The combination of productive hitting and plus ability in both center and short is valuable.

Yes Kreidler had the run at SS for either 4 or 5 games but then Gray was in there for the next 2 games.  They are not showing that Kreidler is the preferred choice at short, we will see.  Other than the one run, throughout the season they have preferred Gray and I don't understand it.
