Does Shelton know you can pull a pitcher in the middle of an inning??? He is one of the worst managers I've ever seen for leaving a pitcher in too long. Even worse than Baldelli. Prielipp should have been pulled after the Arenado single if not earlier. And yes, I know about the shoddy infield play.

Of course you are being sarcastic. Prielipp did everything right. He threw two double plays that weren't completed and two outs to infielders that wound up with guys on base. Did you want him to strike out the side on 9 pitches?

The exact opposite was said about Rocco pulling pitchers too early. Do you remember the bullpen is trash? I have no issue with Shelton giving more slack to starting pitchers.

Also, as always, the CoK will be passing around the collection plate during the seventh inning stretch.

It would have been a better inning....

Lee and Gray are both bad fielders

Lewis is better than Lee at third base. Lee should be the one playing 2nd base and Keaschall should be with the Saints, with Clemens back at 1st base. Kriedler at short, and Gray for option to minors or dfa.

Anyone else think that the MLB brass knows exactly who is going to win the WS this year? Corruption is rampant under you know who…

do yourself a favor …. Never ever bet ever on any sports again! Trump and his mafia buddies will take your money

I'm a bit surprised by Shelton's willingness to keep Preilipp into the 6th inning though.  The 5th inning wasn't Preilipp's fault, but that should have been it for him.

Walking the leadoff guy wasn’t great. But yeah, the pie chart of blame for that inning is something like

CP: 20%
TG: 45%
LK: 15%
BL: 20%

It will be interesting to listen to the postgame interview with Shelton on why he left Preilipp out there to die on the crabgrass in the 6th inning.  I'm scared of the Twins bullpen as well, but you have to still make moves to try to win the game.  You were only down 2 with AZ in a bullpen game.

not sure how you gave any percentage to a pitcher who created 7 outs.

Couldn't agree more. Shelton is terrible with pitching. It's almost like it's a bother to walk to the mound and make a change. We will just wait until the inning is over. You could tell Prielipp was all shook up causing the balk.

Are you watching the game on Apple TV or following the game?
