Church of Kreidler Verified Member Posted June 20 Posted June 20 As we are gathered here tonight for this wonderful Twins game, I would you all to take a moment to remember our One True Player, Ryan Kreidler. Now that we have reached the 7th inning stretch, I would like to remind you that we are now taking Paypall! (Also, anyone got any quotes on helicopters? We just got a pad installed on the roof, and it’s looking awfully empty…)
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Kody. Dude… Absolutely fooled on a literal middle middle slider for strike 2, then swing at that junk out of the zone?

Walk, double, single, balk, single. And still comes out for the next inning. Home Run.

It's almost like it's a bother to walk to the mound and make a change. We will just wait until the inning is over. You could tell Prielipp was all shook up causing the balk. I didn't mind Shelton leaving Preilipp out there to complete the 5th. The 5th inning was not his fault. Even if you had a plan to get Groover in the 6th before replacing him could be understandable to let Preilipp finish on a high note. There was no reason to go beyond that and let him face the lineup for the 4th time. They don't even have Joe Ryan do that normally, much less Prielipp.

He looks totally unfocused now with his at bats.. It’s almost like he’s unconscious up there. He just keeps letting the strikes go by. Church of Kreidler 1

Church of Kreidler Verified Member Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Per Apple, Morneau traveled with the team to do training with Lewis. So we could have had Morneau and Plouffe? I think that would have been way better then the MLB guy… Western SD Fan 1

There were details. Only one run should have scored for an average defense. Error and botched DP started the damage. The plays were very routine. After that was another failed DP and hard one hopper that was misplayed. I'm sure the radio guys were less than direct in their calls. Western SD Fan 1

I really think (hope) tonight was an aberration. I know (pray) they will be tighter tomorrow. I have faith (delusions) in this team.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20 Posted June 20 I have a small world connection to Travis Adams… so it would be cool if he could ever figure out how to pitch in the bullpen this year. jaimedude and Danchat 2

No. They were pretty accurate on stating that it was the defense that let down Preilipp. That's why I have not be very critical of him tonight. He pitched well enough to get out of the inning. His defense did not allow him to do so. I would still say that even with all of that, Preilipp should not have come out for the 6th inning.

Tristan Gray is ass at the plate right now. The league has figured him out. There is a reason he never hooked on anywhere else for any length of time. Gray is a 4A player. Danchat 1
Baumer67 Verified Member Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Gray is not a major league starting player. He is a mediocre utility player. Strikes out too much and not a good shortstop

Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted June 20 Posted June 20 The radio boys do not match Gameday. Is Gray out of the game? The radio boys claimed that Lee is now at SS with all of the defensive shuffling.
