HarmonK03 Verified Member Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Is Zoll even awake or anyone in the Twins offices. Culpepper needs to be pulled from the game now and put on a plane. I know there are question marks about some of the other players we would like to see up here, but what are you going to lose. Trying to fit Clemens into your lineup batting third, that has us 8 games below .500, Let's do something to show that we have a plan and are serious about trying to develop a winning team. Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13 Posted June 13 If this is the beginning of Joe Ryan’s patented 2nd half slide, then let’s make a trade happen sooner than later. h2oface, hitterscount and glunn 2 1
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Caratini can’t hit, but sure can do a nice half bat flip to opposite hand. You know, important stuff. They don’t make Cards throw enough pitches to even give Ryan a needed break. Playing like yesterday never ended. Patzky and Church of Kreidler 1 1

Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted June 13 Posted June 13 A better experience that inning but is it too late.

tony&rodney Verified Member Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I think the Twins wanted Kaelen Culpepper to play 75-80 games at AAA but it looks like he is ready. The defense is solid, he is a good base runner, and the patience has improved month to month. The bat has pop, both gap and over the fence. glunn and h2oface 2

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Rain delay likely on the way. Just got home and the wind is blowing like crazy with heavy rain. Windows are closed now

I have little doubt he will not be up by July, but Sabato is the glove and bat that should be up.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Don’t even think about Gray’s 2 grand slams ……

Keep playing AAAA players and past their prime vets like Bell and Caratini. At some point you have to promote if the players are earning and there are a few that are earning a shot based on what is in front of them. IndyTwinsFan, Aggies7, Vanimal46 and 5 others 8

A plan is nice, but sometimes the situation dictates you adjust. And by moving Lee to third and trying to play Gray at short, it is time to adjust.
