I guess it's Caratini's scheduled day off. He left after getting hit on his foot, hope it's nothing to be concerned about. In news that isn't news, Buxton sits. Maybe a split isn't so bad when you consider they best us in the first series. Good Prielipp please!

SP- Abel and RP- Sands would be a step.up from SP- Bullpen and RP- Lawrence. Rojas hopefully on the way back within a few weeks..

Cameron has been tough for the Twins. The lineup doesn't scream fear. The key will be very solid approaches and situational hitting. Perhaps Prielipp shows a little more consistency with his command as well. The Royals offense can be held down if the pitchers pitch and the fielders field.

I'm afraid the Twins fans are going to have to be patient until such time as Culpepper, Jenkins, and Rodriguez arrive to shore up the outfield defense and provide some offensive spark. The current roster is doing what it can. Nine years of focusing on DH types for the 13 position players won't go away overnight. I like that the club is generally playing hard. It is easier to watch this team than the last two years, for me.

We will likely have to wait for the pregame show to hear anything on Buxton.  I fear the worst where he will need an IL stint and are just waiting to make that move when they go on the road.  Cameron did shut them down early in the season.  I also think since we have not been facing LHP every other day, like we did earlier in the season, we are back to the old Twins facing a LHP.  The ghost of Jamie Moyer could still get 4 innings and twice through the batting order.

Your guess of Buxton i believe is right, and i think Royce was brought back so quickly as a sign that he can help with the offense ?  stay tuned on that-  Hope im wrong but reading Tea Leaves with the Twins ? Does anyone know ?    the fact that Kreidler is even here or Gray or Arcia  when the Future is stuck in St Paul at S.S. why not bring up the 26 year old c.f. Right handed bat ,  Scratching  for answers  when this year needs to be a lets see what we got and quit fooling people ,!!!!!
