This terrible roster but he proved he was not a good manager in Pittsburgh. Twins took easy way out hiring him. I don't disagree about Shelton. But some of this is dictated by the front office analytics of how they play in all the different situations. I was hoping we would get further away from this without Falvey, but we haven't gotten far enough away. Patzky, Church of Kreidler and jaimedude 3

They seemed to be playing like they at least understood the game, we are back to poor defense, suspect pitching, slow plodding base running, to many undisciplined plate appearances…. Sox and Pirates are ok, but they are toying with us and taking advantage of all of the above. Hunter4848 1

Right now with this roster what difference would it make, who would play LF then. They need massive changes to this roster.

My issue is still losing all these games with fringe MLB players an 4A guys. There is no development happening with key prospects being hurt, or being kept in the minor leagues for service tine. Twins ownership the Pohlads are notorious for keeping service time clocks in check, and controlling players as long as possible at minimum salary's. There is littlr to zero value on rostering MLB players like Alex Jackson and James Outman. They are not enough of difference makers even in 25th to 26th spots. I get all owners do the control thing, but Twins do it to the point of excess, and guys get stale playong AAA ball for longer than sometimes they should. They also hang on to guys beyond the point of redemption. Blyleven2011, Parfigliano and Hunter4848 3

There is zero value on rostering MLB players like Alex Jackson and James Outman. The Pohlads didn't decide to keep Outman over Roden, there is no other backup catcher in the minor leagues. You can thank Falvey for that, not the Pohlads. The only prospect that is potentially being kept in check for service time is Culpepper. There are many other guys they could bring up, that would not be impacted by service time. The Pohlads screwed up last offseason by not getting rid of Falvey in October so that they could get a real baseball executive in to lead the team. Parfigliano, Patzky and Church of Kreidler 2 1

I can see that 100% but the Pohlads keep people like Falvey around to the point of excess or staleness. Once Lavine left, they should have overhauled Front office and scouting. Joe Pohlad was a meddler behind the scenes, with limited baseball knowledge. Sounds like Tom at least try's to let people do jobs without micromanaging. All the injury's suck but even fans knew this is a poorly constructed roster, lacks depth, to start the season even. Twins didn't do much if anything to supplement the roster and that is 100% on ownership.
