Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I'd consider this series to be a 'win' if someone brushes back #51. Dude is an absolute clown show. Enough already.

Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Pirates don't hit nearly so well as the Sox but if we still can't score.. Church of Kreidler and thelanges5 2
Peter Verified Member Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Win series with Pittsburgh/payback against white Sox next week at home!!! Blyleven2011 1
Twindy Verified Member Posted May 28 Posted May 28 So Grichuks 15th RBI. He was available the Sox signed him. The Twins signed Bell. Maybe I’m a little sensitive because I always liked Grichuck. Of course he’s a right handed outfielder so the Twins just like left handers.
Baumer67 Verified Member Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Well they left Simeon in too long once again. He is consistently bad! knothole61 1

As opposed to watching the aging vets and AAAA guys flail away. At least there could be some upside with the kids, there is none to this roster as constructed. Danchat, jkcarew and RpR 2 1

You're only as good as that day's starting pitcher. Prielipp and SWR both struggled and I think it is fairly common in baseball for the bats to get jumpy or desperate when you fall behind by a ton of runs. Patzky, thelanges5 and Church of Kreidler 3
Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Barring a miracle, they'll be 4-3 leaving Chicago. Taj, Ober and Ryan in Pittsburgh. Even with the line-up struggling, the Twins have a legit chance at going 6-4 on this trip. Peter, thelanges5 and knothole61 3

Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I'm at high-school sectional play game and enjoying it .... Only comment i will have today is , , is SWR a starting pitcher or a bullpen arm ??? ... He didn't fair well again as a starter and we really don't know if he will handle the bullpen transition ...

Let's ask the White Sox how that works out. Every player in their lineup is 26 or younger except for Grichuk and Martin. Yes our way with six players over 30 is working so well for us. hitterscount, Vanimal46 and Aggies7 3

Twindy Verified Member Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Larnach should’ve peeled off, and I think Gray would’ve had that ball. He dropped it because he thought he was gonna run in to Larnach. Larnach started to veer away, and then veered back in his path. Patzky 1
