Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Can Bailey Ober keep working his 88mph magic against the Brewers? They're not a great offensive team, but they're certainly pesky. They're also healthier than they've been for most of the season, though they're still missing Yelich. Road trip Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 It'll be interesting to see the lineup today. Buxton's bat is desperately needed, but is he healthy yet? Jeffers would normally get a day off here, day game after a night game, but his bat is also badly needed. Maybe he gets a DH start instead of the struggling Bell? They've got to find a way to scratch out at least 3 runs.. IndyTwinsFan 1

Martin needs a day off but leads off, and we face a lefty, so Larnach sits as well (Outman remains out of necessity, with Kriedler rounding out the OF) You're spot on about Jeffers at DH. Strikeout phenom Robert Gasser is the latest AAA Brewers arm hoping to shut down the Twins.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Might need to speed run through this game. Strong thunderstorms expected later this evening Church of Kreidler 1
HarmonK03 Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 So Outman has a couple of good games and Larnach has consistently been providing quality AB's all season. And yet who sits today, Larnach should be in there over Outman. This organization shows no confidence in the players they develop, in smaller or larger decisions. Having Clemens hitting 4th is just desperation. Parfigliano, jaimedude, hitterscount and 1 other 3 1
thelanges5 Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Obviously need Buck back in the lineup and I don’t want him to go on the IL, but this organization loves to run a 25 man roster. Patzky and Danchat 2

Church of Kreidler Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Hopefully they're just giving Larnach another day off to keep him healthy - I’d hate to see him land on the IL

hitterscount Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 There's guys that look like they are .200 hitters.... Clemens however does get some big hits. Nice swing there. Patzky and Twins_Fan_in_NJ 2
Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 This guy throws such junk. Twins should be able to put up some runs today.

Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 They have to send Royce down at this point. Hurting the team and further ruining any confidence he might have left. Danchat 1
hitterscount Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 The Lewis bobblehead should have him holding a bat with a big hole Twins_Fan_in_NJ 1

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 There could have been 10 dropped fouls and Royce still would have gotten out
