Amazing to imagine that's it's possible. But it is. Huge series coming up .. kinda.

The only Twins to have hit HR against Irvin are.. Bell and Wallner. Who hit the top five on the R &B charts in 1978 with their single Power in the Capitol.

Buck Larnach Martin

Jeffers Wallner Keaschall

Clemens Lee Gray

Maybe Lee is better suited down there. Another Royce absence, and Larnach takes Bell's DH spot today. Shelty is convinced Wallner's fixed! Now about Sim...

I like having Wallner in there, see if he can continue to build off his last couple of games.  I am not sure about sitting Lewis again, Gray is no more than replacement level.   They need to see if he can work thru his struggles.  We are not going anywhere this year.

If the playoffs started today, the AL bracket would look like this:

The Rays (24-12) would host the Mariners (18-20) for the right to play the Yankees (25-12)

The Guardians (19-19) would host the Tigers (18-20) for the right to play the A's (18-18)*

In other words, one side of the bracket would have two teams on a 108+ win pace, while the other would have nobody over .500

Gary Bettman thinks this is a great bracket

*EDIT: it's possible they could swap the Guardians and A's, but same difference

But we know he's due for 4 strikeouts  ...

If Lewis isn't hurt, they need to send him down to get some ABs at St. Paul.  I don't think time in his own head on the bench will help.
