Preliminary forecast indicates gusty winds (15-20 from SSW) blowing out at Nationals Park tonight. Hope they aren't as gusty as they were in Tampa?

So ATL cut RP Carlos Carrasco. He's just the type of guy the Pohlads would go after.  O.OO era in two innings even.

I cannot believe the Twins did not make a roster move after Saturday’s pitching meltdown (8 run inning). 
 

DFA Garcia and replace with Rojas. 
 

If Ryan has to go in the IL, then call up Mathews.

Just seen a short from the Skor North Twins show that he quoted Dan Hayes.  No structural damage and a clean MRI.  Plans on missing a bullpen session.  As of now, he is planning on making his next start on Saturday.

Exhale, Twins fans. It seems Joe Ryan is going to be fine.

Ryan, 29, played catch prior to Tuesday’s game in Washington and will throw a bullpen session as scheduled Wednesday. An MRI revealed no structural damage in Ryan’s right elbow, so no transaction is required at this time. If all continues to progress well, he should be on track to make his next start over the weekend.
