pretty obvious a challenge needs to be saved for the later innings. And hitters only should use one in rbi situations. Save them for the pitchers.

Unless one can actually watch the players who are going to be drafted, it is hard to judge them from the ratings. There are things like K-rate, BB-rate, XBH, speed, and arm to look at from reports. However, the fielding and hitting judgments are often difficult to call and things are complicated because below the pro level the players are not using wood bats. I had no idea Brooks Lee was so slow or that his fielding range was so limited. His bat has not yet been shipped from AAA to the bigs. Tough to know who to draft.

He's basically just a waste of a roster spot, just like Outman.  However, Outman is at least semi-competent defensively, which is more than one can say about Lee.
