Does Royce Lewis need some AAA time to get his. Swing back. Fangraphs says he. Has 2 options left

But I thought he worked hard on rebuilding and simplifying his swing this off-season...

They don't have a better option at 3rd. Or even a moderately worse option.

At some point this season, we could see Brooks Lee move to 3rd and Kaelen Culpepper or Marek Houston taking over at SS.

There are options which would be better than a poor performing Royce Lewis.   I accept that he will start the season with the MLB squad.    If he underperforms, BETTER options couid include moving. Brooks Lee to 3rd and Kaelen Culpepper or Marek Houston taking over at SS.

The same Marek Houston who made Ryan Kreidler look like a legitimate MVP candidate last year?

.152/.220/.239 OPS .459 in Cedar Rapids (low minors) Marek Houston?

Royce Lewis at SS is better than Brooks Lee at SS, IMHO. Btw, Brooks Lee isn't exactly tearing it up in ST, though he does have a lucky .341 BABIP helping him out.

Seems like the few random ABs I've seen from Lewis if he makes contact it's a  pop out.

According to the New Age Stat guys, all outs are created equal, but sometimes K's ae better, maybe he needs a return to the swing and miss days...

Was just gonna create a post, "Is Royce Lewis a bust?" and saw this.

He is just 26, it might yet happen.

Hunter Greene was my hopeful pick, mainly because he seemed to have outstanding character on top of a two way game. Water under the bridge.

Royce is 10th in WAR for his draft class, at 4.0.

But 4th in WAR for that draft class: Brent Rooker, at 8.8.

His 46 HRs are 5th in his draft class, well behind Rooker's 1st place 108.

I think we punted the wrong guy.

Probably not Ortiz vs. LeCroy stupid, but still.

As I recall, Lewis was one of those helium prospects that caught everybody's eye late, much like fellow SS Keoni Cavaco. Dangerous practice.

Dubious about this guys future. Wasn't a red-hot draft class, but still, missing on a #1 overall? That's not how it's supposed to work.
