Brooks Lee shouldn't be afforded the luxury of the complimentary hitting analysis. He was not very good in the field and worse on the basepaths!

Also, and maybe more importantly the comment, "What I see is a losing culture starting to crystallize ... ," should be no surprise as the teams has done nothing to improve since the the summer of 2023. The fans have notices, as have (apparently) the players, probably and the manager and his coaches, and the GM too!

There is no sense "piling on" a team that has very little talent and nothing at stake, but for the life of me, how did we trade that many players and only receive one or two legitimate prospects?

See if you can spot the oxymoron:

"Legit prospect"

"Military intelligence"

"Jumbo shrimp"

You can disagree all you want, but the math is on the internet for anyone that is interested.

Believe want you want but I just gave you an example of the math not working.

2 of those legit prospects are catchers 19 years old or younger which is literally the riskiest player to acquire in a trade. Remember Diego Cartaya? Former top 20 prospect in the game that was unplayable in AAA this year as a 23 year old?

Sure. But every player comes with risk. But saying they got one prospect is ridiculous. Imo.

The fair point is none of us know anything yet. The early returns on the MLB ready players is not good but there’s a runway to figure things out.

That's not how statistics work. It's probability, not certainly.

Statistics in last nights game against Toronto where both teams hit 2 Home Runs show your statistics are wrong again, Both teams hit 2 HR but the team that had more hits won. Once again average is certainly more important than power.

Your post is awfully good... Had to reply just to avoid a deafening silence.

It's not an open secret in regards to prospects. It's the same difference as always and it is often clearly misunderstood. Let them act naturally and it will sort itself out. Create competition, player X being the only choice will cause Rocco and Player X to be alone together taking the team down the wrong path. Don't look for an exact estimate... get out of the way and let the players tell you through performance.

It took me a minute to figure out what was going on here ... well done. Maybe even a little profound

You want an original copy of what is... Old News

Just an unbiased opinion. We will have to use plastic silverware for a bit until we find genuine imitations of  MLB capable ball players that can cut meat. Even odds on if the front office can stop with the soft rock and raise this thing to a dull roar

Some seriously funny stuff.

Still, the idea that the advanced beginners in A ball are legit prospects seems to me a tragic comedy. Even if such claims are oddly familiar, I'm clearly confused by the inevitable sweet sorrow and bitter sweet results that end up in the sounds of silence  or the crash landing as success stories just grow smaller.

The whole numbering of prospects to me seems nothing but random ordering

Agreed... I'd love to get on the Tait bandwagon but he's in the low minors. I'll wait and watch in the meantime. Right now... I'm more concerned with those on the actual 40 man. or about to be placed on the 40 man. The players who need immediate assessment.

Plenty of turtles hatch... very few complete the trek across the beach to the sea. The majority get picked off by Birds, Crabs, Raccoons, front office executives and coaches.

❤️(part 1) all animals must try extremely hard for survival....

What the Twins have to do now... right now... immediately is remove as many birds, crabs, raccoons and front office executives from their path to the sea.
