  1. Speaking of Josue De Paula, how can the Dodgers have so much MiLB talent? Is the Twins scouting department that bad or are they simply not able to develop these young players?
  2. The front office has failed the team and the fans ... AGAIN!
  3. Good grief, don't we have a single "top prospect" ready to go ... at any position?
  4. I've seen him play live and on TV and he seems to be a good outfielder. He doesn't look as fast as I though he was and his arm is decent, from what I could see. Defensively, he looks better than Jenkins and ERod, but maybe he just doesn't profile well in our deep system of elite OF'ers.
  5. Gleeman is a good writer, but his baseball acumen leaves much to be desired. In any case, it is nice to see a reporter stand on principal, not on ceremony (Russo, Krawczynski).
  6. "The Twins are encouraged by Culpepper’s play at shortstop. He’d easily be the Twins' best defensive infielder right now. I feel relatively confident calling him likely to be an average big-league shortstop (complimentary), if not slightly better. His arm will allow the skill set to work excellently at third base, too (don’t tell Royce, anyone)." Not too shabby, and when Marek Houston is up, the left side of the Twins infield will be rock solid ... finally!
  7. Nah, maybe they just aren't that good. That said, they are RH bats and this team desperately needs to try and develop what they have.
  8. Sheesh! The guy looked brilliant this afternoon! Blowing Witt away with 100 MPH was sweet!
  9. Jenkins' play in CF and E-Rod's in RF left a lot to be desired too. Does the Twins organization have any speed ... other than Buxton?
  10. I'm not sure the Twins MiLB is really that bad and I'm beginning to think Jenkins may not really be that good. I hope I'm right and wrong.
  11. What's the fascination with Ober? He's an okay pitcher. but is pigeon-holed as a #4 starter, at best.
  12. Mayo? Yes, but he's not going anywhere. Mountcastle? Nope.
