  1. I believe this was started by a Reddit user and Nightengale ran with it. No way Houston takes Correa back unless the Twins eat a bunch of dollars.
  2. Might as well trade the rest of the bullpen because we won't need them for the next couple of years. I bet Buxton and the gang feel super psyched about the future, especially with Falvey and Rocco in control of this Pohlad production of this summertime disaster!
  3. A middling 23 year old prospect and an undersized catcher who's defense is a "work in progress" and is an okay hitter? Not good, but at least they'll be cheap.
  4. If I'm the Twins, I ask for three of the top-5 prospects, and a couple other players. If any team balks, I say, "buh-bye." Ryan is a top-10 pitcher with two more years of control, yes? You don't move players like that!
  5. Or, perhaps, Brad Radke. Judging by the dunderheads calling ball &s strikes, a pitcher that lives on outer reaches of the strike zone might be onto something.
  6. Talk about an earth-shaking move! I think all of baseball is rattled by this transaction!
  7. Why not a guy like John Klein? I know they would prefer a lefty, but the fans and team would prefer someone who can get people out. You cannot possibly tell me that Misiewicz was the only viable option!
  8. The bigger elephant in the room is Correa! At the plate, he looks like he just came up from rookie ball, and his defense no longer outpaces his ineptitude at the plate.
  9. With all due respect, Nick, what the heck are you talking about?
  10. Other than Buxton, Ryan, and Lopez, I'm not sure there are any players another team would give up premium talent for.
  11. To me, his stuff always looked hittable, but he has managed to be successful in spite of appearances. Maybe he has to adopt the Joe Ryan mantra of pitching inside when things are not working.
  12. Tom Kelly is rolling over in his grave. No pitching, no defense, and horrible fundamentals!
  13. I think it's fair to say that they lost it ... YUGELY!
  14. Back down to a game over .500. The Twins can be at bad teams, but struggle against "good" teams - a movie we've all seen before. Tough times result in making tough decisions, and Bride is not an MLB player. In addition, I'm not sure that Vazquez's defense out weighs his frequent offensive futility. We're now halfway between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the time where teams show what they are. Yes, the starting rotation is facing some hurdles, but the offense is not carrying their collective weight and with few options available, it looks like an 85 win season. Welcome back to mediocrity.
