  1. Sheesh! The guy looked brilliant this afternoon! Blowing Witt away with 100 MPH was sweet!
  2. Jenkins' play in CF and E-Rod's in RF left a lot to be desired too. Does the Twins organization have any speed ... other than Buxton?
  3. I'm not sure the Twins MiLB is really that bad and I'm beginning to think Jenkins may not really be that good. I hope I'm right and wrong.
  4. What's the fascination with Ober? He's an okay pitcher. but is pigeon-holed as a #4 starter, at best.
  5. Mayo? Yes, but he's not going anywhere. Mountcastle? Nope.
  6. Varde is more of investment group with the emphasis on investment. I believe their goal will be to make the Twins a more valuable asset.
  7. Gardy had some darn good players under him! His problem was his love for the "BYTO" type of guys that shouldn't be starters. Then again, I guess Mauer, Morneau, Hunter, Cuddyer, Santana, Cuddyer, Liriano, Kubel, Radke, Nathan, Jones, Guzman, Koskie, Mientkiewicz, Thome, etc. were all not that great after all.
  8. Probably the worst of worst available, but I wish him well.
  9. Huh? Dave Roberts may be the most overrated manager of the decade! I would guess almost any other MLB manager would leave their respective job to manage the Dodgers!
  10. He has a lot of experience in what not to do. I think Rowson did a great job of fixing what Brunansky helped to break. Would Morneau be interested in a coaching position?
  11. Servais is the uncle of a friend of mine. Maybe free tickets ... if he's hired!
  12. The Twins, and seemingly the fans, seem to have a sweetheart bond to this guy. Let him go!
  13. I think that their "expanded media market" is on par with mid-major markets. Again, look at San Diego's payroll, their in a smaller media market than the Twins, but the spend and rewarded for it. With Seattle transitioning to a Twins-like media deal, let's see how they deal with their spending. I wonder how much input DStP has?
  14. I vote for Cruz, but maybe Wes Johnson or James Rowson? Maybe one the hot NCAA coaches/managers?
  15. I wonder if Wes Johnson is available ... maybe Jay Johnson? Maybe the staff of Vandy, Florida, or Texas? Nelson Cruz? This team needs something different, and if they even hint at Toby Gardenhire, I'm done!
  16. Why would you think that. O's fans couldn't wait for him to be gone and believe he mismanaged to deepest young talent pool in baseball.
  17. If I owned the Twins, Pablo and Ryan are not traded. A team with two solid starters, Buxton, and a maturing Lewis and Lee could provide a shot at a .500 record. However, if they drop out of contention by the 2026 deadline, start unloading everyone. This team absolutely cannot start next season with the always overrated Ober as their number one! That would be a death knell for the season, attendance, and ratings. Let's face it, the Pohlad ownership deserves everything they are receiving, but I still want to hopeful for 2026.
