  1. 15 of those were after his MLB debut. He was stellar at the AA level, then was pushed through AAA to get with the big club. He needed more time and the Twins needed a pitcher.
  2. Waahhh for them! I'd tell them to get a little tougher. You know what's tough? Working concrete, heavy landscaping, and HVAC for 40 years!
  3. Zebby wan't that bad. For a guy who was pushed throught the minors, he was fine.
  4. I'm always looking for hidden talent, maybe The Zollster should sign me up! My specialty is Asian and latin prospects!
  5. Maybe it's just as simple as some of the Twins pitchers not handling adversity very well.
  6. I was hoping for an 85-win season and a shot at the playoff, but alas, it does not appear to be in the cards. Sigh.
  7. If Rocco were still managing, KC would be in that situation. MIght as well call up Jenkins too!
  8. Witt's GG play was the reason Caratini didn't get a base hit and two RBI. If you're going to place blame, give some credit too.
  9. No, I hope not. His last Cleveland outing was beyond dreadful and no really good pitcher worth his salt (whatever that means) puts that many pitches over the heart of the plate unless something is wrong with him.
  10. Keep Jeffers, Larnach, and Ryan, then try to add a RH power bat and maybe another good reliever. This team is not championship material, yet, but who knows?
  11. If you don't have command of your pitches, you're still not throwing strikes. It seems to me that "control" and "command" can be be interchangeable.
  12. Of his last five outings, two have been really good, two have been pretty bad, and one was okay. The question might be, does he even want to be here?
  13. Outman had some potential, it's just no longer there. Detroit has given him more opportunity and the results are (roughly) the same.
  14. Too bad the organization's MiLB teams seem to lack the teaching and managing to bring solid w-l records to fruition. No doubt, the Twins have some very nice prospects, but from the outside, it doesn't appear that way ... as a collective.
  15. Before his demotion, Royce appeared to be reaching for outside pitches and, simultaneously, pulling hi body back. Now, while he still reaches for the same pitches, it appears he's staying on the ball and trying to go the other way with it. That's a big change for a guy that loved to be a dead-pull hitter and it will (eventually) force pitchers to come inside more.
