No offense to @Sjoski but I am sick to death of references to position players pitching like that is important. I get that it is low-hanging fruit to ridicule the team getting beat soundly. The last guy on the bench gets to lob balls in lost cause games. It didn't add to his value and keep him on the roster.Any club could take a guy out of the stands to do the same thing and all clubs do it when they are getting clobbered.
