According to the report, the Greenfield native is exploring another opportunity to see if he can land back in the majors with another team------Twins ? As bad as the pitching is now, I'll take it over Kyle Gibson's 4 starts this year: 0-4, 12 1/3 IP, 16.78 ERA. But for you advanced metrics people, he has had some bad luck as his FIP is only 10.53 this year.

I mean, Ober and Ryan have been rock solid for 2.5 years. Ober has to be injured more than he’s leading on. Paddack I had a feeling was going to crash down to a 5 ERA pitcher again. SWR was quite serviceable last year. I don’t understand it.

This makes the Twins the fourth different org for Ureña in 2025, who's previously pitched for the Blue Jays, Mets, and Dodgers.

Tanking While Insisting Nothing’s Stagnant "We believe in this group." -- Derek Falvey The defense isn't good enough to bail out the pitching. The pitching isn't good enough to overcome defensive lapses or bad calls. Even a missed scoring opportunity plants defeatist seeds. So long as everything goes smoothly Paddack, Ober, Sim et. al. can be productive. But one blunder and the wheels come off. At least they have short memories and come out and can throw productive outs and innings but the damage is done .. IndyTwinsFan 1

Gibson signed with Baltimore right before the season started , he had very little spring training , he bombed out of the gate , released and signed with Tampa, had some good results in the minors and had a opt out in his contract and he exercised it , There really is no gamble , cause we only have to pay the minimum , Baltimore is on the hook for the rest ... 3 straight hits , amazing they get any , 5-2 Seattle ...
