Dave Borton Verified Member Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 My biggest challenge tomorrow will be deciding to whom to listen for the noon Tigers/Guards? Dickerson or Hamilton are both great. Tuned into both teams frequently this year. Both announcers know the game, can help you visualize what is happening, ask the right questions. Dickerson will get the nod as he is better at engaging his cohort, Bobby Scales, in meaningful player-knowledge. Play ball! Hosken Bombo Disco and David HK 2

David HK Verified Member Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 I'm for anybody coming out of our Central. I wouldn't even mind seeing the Tribe finally win one. And of course, the only way I'd root for the NL team is if the Evil Empire was the AL rep. On that note, win or lose, KC is playing the Yanks tough. It's nice to see a team take the field against them without pee stains covering their uniform pants, you know, like some teams we know... mrtwinsfan 1
tarheeltwinsfan Verified Member Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 I am cheering for a Twins rival in the AL Central, the Chicago team.......oh wait, the record setting White Sox are not in the playoffs. As the obnoxious Hawk used to say: "They gone!"

Dave Borton Verified Member Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Yankees' adjusted payroll 3x as much as Guardians. Go Guards! Roll over 'em.

mnfireman Verified Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Cleveland looked very Minnesota-esque that inning against Cole....

NYCTK Verified Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 I'll say it again, the AL was just so inferior to the NL this year. The Yankees are the only good team in the entire league and they're not actually that good. They'll have a chance in the World Series, but there were probably 4 NL teams better than the Yankees this season. Guardians just proving they're not actually contenders.
lecroy24fan Verified Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 It could be a good sign for the OP here since every team I have rooted for in the playoffs has lost their series to this point. That's right I'm 0-8. I am going for the Yankees and Dodgers. The only NL team I hate more than the Dodgers is the Mets so I am very reserved in rooting for them. David HK 1
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Be nice here in game 3 if the Mets could quit the Ks against LA
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Judge-Stanton back to back off Clase in the 8th. Really dislike the NYY.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Duran would have been crucified had he pitched like clase has this postseason. 3 home runs allowed now

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Cleveland has played this series every bit like the twins usually do against NY in the playoffs. Little offense and can’t execute a thing defensively
