After that collapse in Texas - about 6 weeks ago now - I knew what was coming. It's been a total collapse since that point and it begins and ends with the manager.

Actually it would have been more entertaining if Alan Alda's character in MASH were Iowa's mascot. (but i see he probably got his name from Iowa, didn't he.

Tigers won in extras, Royals got trounced. The Twins control their own destiny against the Royals. Mariners up early as well. 
 

The postponement means López will start tomorrow and then Friday, but wouldn’t be available to pitch Game 1 of a first round series. If they move Ober to Tuesday, he would pitch the finale against the Orioles and if they have a playoff spot locked up, he could pitch Game 1. If Ober has to pitch regular season Game 162, I guess SWR would start the opener if they make the playoffs.

Gonna be a lot of channel surfing today. Should be an interesting afternoon. Would love to see us sweep today, but Twins and doubleheaders always scare me a little bit. Pablo needs to shut them down and give us at least one win. GO TWINS!

Heard a stat that the Twins are 7-1 in doubleheaders this year. 

bold prediction: Pablo dominates and Twins win Game 1, and between game Boston packs their suitcases and starts making restaurant reservations for next Monday, Twins win by double digits in the second game. 

Just don’t tell the state that I didnt renew my jinx-proof license this year.
