Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 This series shows me that the Guards aren't 'that' much better than the Twins. The gap between the two teams is pretty thin. One team is well-managed and executes. The other does not. Some new blood in the dugout next spring and the script could flip. USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 So refreshing to see Ramirez busting ass down the line on a grounder to first. Refreshing, and ... unusual...
exeoud Verified Member Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 Props to Cleveland for flat out embarassing the Twins in the clutch, but it does not reflect well for them to be down in all 4 games and be playing such tight games with this awful Twins team. Twins_Fan_in_NJ 1

Am relatively familiar with the movie, just was grasping at straws for the connection, as i'd never heard it before. If i had to guess it would have been that something was threatening our precious bodily fluids. But yeah. Pretty sure dropping the bomb is intentional in the movie, so woulda been a long time before i guessed that was the point of the name. Edited September 19, 2024 by sampleSizeOfOne incomplete explanation on my part

This really has been the biggest disappointment of the season. I thought he was a franchise player. I thought he was a 6 WAR player for years to come. Instead he's going into his age 26 season with only a season's worth of PAs, slow, a weak arm, and no defensive position. cheeseheadgophfan and RpR 2
