Forget about Cleveland for a while. With this aggregate of players we have after all the injuries, I’d be more worried about what the Red Sox and royals are doing.

Yes sir, and now C.C.  Seems to be alot more to that contract being ??  hope im wrong ,

If I don't see a pinch hit walk off grand slam by Vazquez I want a refund.

The tying run is somewhere in the dugout

Everybody here wants that.

I mean, why else would there be so much Jeffers bashing?

Lee has been involved in a couple of costly defensive lapses late in two different games now.

But if one has a good bat, defense does not matter.🙃

Yep. Makes you appreciate Correa and to some degree Santana and Willi.

Tonight was bad, but I feel like this team mostly plays in close games. And they have a winning record.

Maybe I'm wrong, but when I think "2024 Twins," I think almost exclusively close games and not blowouts.

You are correct in your assessment.  But it's frustrating when they continue to run PH roulette, especially with a guy who is 0-22 in that spot, and do it so early that they hamstring themselves in later innings as well as the lack of simple extra inning strategy as the home team in a tie game and they implode.  Sometimes, simple baseball is winning baseball.  Brewers played smallball and should have won the game with that in the 11th.

1 of 162. Get 'em tomorrow. Win the series. Move on.

Split it at best.

Someone here has said it many times -- close games are won on the margins and this team is terrible in those margins.  A lot of it falls at the feet of the manager, who has proven in his time here that he still has ZERO clue how to strategize crucial situations, whether it's at the plate or on the mound.

Linus gave you a thumbs down….. would like to hear his argument against your great points!!

Winnable games continue to go by the wayside. Saw it in Chicago. Saw it in San Francisco. Saw it tonight. It's on the guy in the dugout.

Crappy batting is a common denominator

This team continues to demonstrate time and time again that it is almost incapable of winning games when they're not hitting the ball at least reasonably well during the game.  Save for the Santana HR in the 11th, that was the case.  Add in the physical errors, mental errors, questionable decision-making by the manager, and generally poor bullpen work, and this is what you oftentimes end up with.

Very frustrating for us fans to watch!
