With this aggregate of players we have after all the injuries, I’d be more worried about what the Red Sox and royals are doing. Yes sir, and now C.C. Seems to be alot more to that contract being ?? hope im wrong ,

IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 I believe I've seen as much of this clown show as I can handle. Yet another example of us getting exactly what we deserved. How pathetic, and disappointing! Twins_Fan_in_NJ 1

Maybe I'm wrong, but when I think "2024 Twins," I think almost exclusively close games and not blowouts. You are correct in your assessment. But it's frustrating when they continue to run PH roulette, especially with a guy who is 0-22 in that spot, and do it so early that they hamstring themselves in later innings as well as the lack of simple extra inning strategy as the home team in a tie game and they implode. Sometimes, simple baseball is winning baseball. Brewers played smallball and should have won the game with that in the 11th. Patzky and Tlaker 2

A lot of it falls at the feet of the manager, who has proven in his time here that he still has ZERO clue how to strategize crucial situations, whether it's at the plate or on the mound. IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 This team continues to demonstrate time and time again that it is almost incapable of winning games when they're not hitting the ball at least reasonably well during the game. Save for the Santana HR in the 11th, that was the case. Add in the physical errors, mental errors, questionable decision-making by the manager, and generally poor bullpen work, and this is what you oftentimes end up with. Very frustrating for us fans to watch! Tlaker 1
