I love Buxton but if this injury is serious (60+ day IL) is it time to do something?  If yes, what are the options?

Maybe crazy in May…………If Wallner doesn’t rebound - it may be worth considering for up to 2 more years. He’s gotta hit for more than 10 games though. He sure looks confident. He SURE IS producing!

Let's wait until there is some clarity about the injury, OK? The word I have been dreading with Buxton's knee is "chronic" with the runner up being "arthritic".

Wait till he heals., then play him again.

Of course they could maneuver the system, take Wallner off of the 40 man and bring Keirsey Jr. up and see if he can handle Big Show pitching.

He can just catch balls and advance on bases at a better than average basis. He doesn’t need to be a “show”. He needs to be in the line-up!

Above average CF & 10 XBH in April w/o really getting going. That’s what we need.

Yup. Producing and looks way better at the plate. That AB against Kopech where he hit the sacrifice fly - I don't think I've seen better plate discipline from him.

I was under the impression that Benetti left because owner Jerry Reinsdorf didn't care for his humor. It's a bummer for me, because our cable system has the Sox and not the Tigers. I've found the new guy to be so-so, neither overwhelmingly good nor bad, but at least Stone is still there.

I know it is not certain yet but history makes me think it might be.

I think so too. Prospect development is not linear. Miranda is looking good this season after an awful year in 2023, marred by injury. He seems intent on forcing his way onto the roster, which is great. Wallner will get it back together, but Larnach may keep him down in AAA anyways. These are the problems you want to have.
